Man pleads guilty after crash death of woman, 25 A man has pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving after a car crash in Merthyr Tydfil last month. Demi Mabbitt, 25, died of her injuries a week after the one-vehicle collision on Swansea Road in Merthyr Tydfil at about 23:45 BST on 5 April. She was described by her family as a “kind, gentle soul”. Cameron Jones, 29, admitted the offence at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday. That is why laws and policies often seek to protect women against men. In 1976, Shavarsh Karapetyan, an Armenian Olympic Swimmer, had just completed a 12-mile run with his brother when they saw a trolley bus crash into a dam reservoir.  The trolley bus sank 80 feet offshore at a depth of 33 Feet.  Shavarsh immediately dove in and swam to the bus and despite zero visibility, managed to kick in the back window, injuring himself in the process. Boy who raped sister after watching pornography sentenced A 12-year-old boy who raped his seven-year-old sister after watching hardcore pornography on the internet has avoided a custodial sentence. The boy, now 13, pleaded guilty to rape, two counts of indecent assault and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. Blackburn Youth Court heard he had viewed pornography with friends and gained "a desire to try it out". Social workers are working to return him to the family home soon.

In the olden days, life was so easy. Ndígbo (The people of Igbo) lived a communal life. When a man reached a youthful age, his age grade would contribute to building a house for him for free. He would also do the same for others. No one got paid for doing so; it was free of charge. Community development was an important role and duty of pre-colonial Igbo society.
